- Ratio CO₂/CH₄ = 1/1

The mole ratio applies to MOLES, not grams. Always convert grams to moles, apply ratio, then convert back if needed.
Read the balanced equation carefully. Coefficients are the mole ratios. If unbalanced, balance first.
