Understanding Concrete Volume

Concrete quantity is a volume problem: multiply the slab dimensions after converting them to compatible units. When length and width are in feet but thickness is in inches, convert thickness to feet by dividing by 12. The resulting volume is in cubic feet, and dividing by 27 converts cubic feet to cubic yards.
