Replacing a 60W incandescent needs 800 lumens of LED output, not just 'a low wattage LED.' Make sure the LED replacement matches the lumen output of the old bulb, not just any low-watt LED.

Calculate realistic daily usage. A bedroom light used 1 hour/day saves much less than a kitchen light used 6 hours/day. Living room and kitchen lights offer the best ROI.
