Common Mistakes to Avoid
You can report only specific test dates to colleges (Score Choice). Some schools require all test dates; others accept your best superscore. Research each school's policy before registering.
ACT Writing is separate and optional; few schools require it in 2024. Check your school list before registering; saving the writing fee is worthwhile if no target schools require it.
Superscoring = combining best section scores from multiple test dates. Many colleges superscore the ACT. A student with English 28 in April and Math 30 in June has a superscore combining the best sections.
